The civil works by TriEX started on Tuesday 24March 26, with the empty hub cabinet and ancillary works being installed and powered by Thursday 26 March 2026, notification of the works was via One Network.

Cabinet manufactured by 1Try with internal marking referring to the cabinet base type as ‘Bob’.

Making the duct penetration into the Openreach chamber from the Hyperoptic chamber to enable the fibre link to be made.

I’m unsure of when the Hyperoptic service will be available or how extensive it will be, I must admit to being surprised at yet another AltNet installing in an already overbuilt town, in fact, Cityfibre are still rolling out there infrastructure in the town as this work was being undertaken.
