{"id":699,"date":"2015-03-01T16:52:55","date_gmt":"2015-03-01T16:52:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/?p=699"},"modified":"2022-04-06T10:44:33","modified_gmt":"2022-04-06T09:44:33","slug":"mag-loop-bender-rig","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/mag-loop-bender-rig\/","title":{"rendered":"Mag Loop Bender Rig"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Made the pipe bender for the magnetic loop today, the idea is that by slowly bringing the pinch roller closer to the static rollers after each pass of the copper pipe, a bend will be introduced, repeating this with slightly more pressure will ultimately form a loop.<\/p>\n<p>I thought how best to engineer the screw mechanism to apply pressure to the pinch roller against the static rollers and decided it was time to dust off my old trusty Workmate bench.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/SAM_5296-Medium.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/SAM_5296-Medium-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"SAM_5296 (Medium)\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-704\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/SAM_5296-Medium-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.chatteris.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/SAM_5296-Medium.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The wood grooved rollers were made locally after I put a shout out on &#8216;Streetlife&#8217;
